Steve North started Northway Insurance Services on April 1, 1985 with one company and one customer. Steve has 28 years of experience in the insurance business. He takes pride in the fact that his agencies are able to offer their customers the best coverage for their money. And that he provides them with the service that they are looking for. He specializes helping the businessman with his insurance needs and/or auto, home, life, and health.

Krystie North joined the agency in the summer of 2003. She works with both the Bemidji office and the Park Rapids office. Health insurance including Medicare supplements and Part D plans are her specialty. However she is there to help with auto and home insurance as needed. She also manages the advertising for the two agencies.

Stephen Jaranson "Stevie" as he is referred to at the office joined the agency in 1988. He brought to the agency 8 years of insurance background with him. He sells business and personal lines including Life and Health. As a Bemidji native he enjoys what the area has to offer with fishing and hunting.

Sandy Girtz came to the agency in 1993. She is the financial person for the agencies. She's there to help you find the best coverage for your home or automobile. She lives in Bagley with her family which keeps her very busy.

Christina Doris is the newest employee to the agency having joined the rest of the staff in the spring of 2008. As a newly licensed agent she is looking forward to working with insureds; servicing them and helping them with their home and auto insurance needs. "Chrissy" as she likes to be called is a native to the Bemidji area.
